:scared: Nice win for Central, so much for Cantrell picks

I guess records and rankings are truly thrown out the window this time of year. Many brackets have been busted due to this one, including my own. I said it in the update forum, but this side of the bracket is just as wide open as the other.

Wow I thought Eastern had a cake walk into the finals! Good win for Central! I don't know much about them were ranked in any of the top 25 polls this year? Just curious.

I dont think they were in the top 25 this year, though I could be wrong. I know KHSAA has their record at 18-14.

Corrected record

Central down 10 late in the game. Great comeback and some big shots when they were needed. I was rooting for Central for one reason and one reason alone, their dance team.:p

:dancingpa, My favorite team of the tournament.

Well I know I didn't put it on here, but I told my friends that I came to the tournament with that I thought Louisville Central would make a nice run.

I'm pretty sure that Central is the first team in over 50 years to enter the Sweet 16 with as few as 16 wins and advance to the semifinals

This just made the top bracket very interesting IMO. I haven't paid much attention because after Eastern beat Corbin, I thought they would be in the finals. Now I'm clueless on who could come out of the top bracket!

If Elliott goes down, I was planning to cheer for SV, but I think ill jump on the Central wagon. (If Elliott goes down that is)

Dont feel alone. I just knew that Eastern or Corbin would win that side of the bracket, but we see how that turned out.

Wow! I didn't see this one coming. Congrats, Central!!!!:dancingpa

Well, the story behind that though is how long it took their football players to get in the swing of things after their state championship run on the gridiron. I saw them twice this year in matchups against Warren Central. The Dragons pulverized them in December when they didn't have everyone, beat them by only one at Dragon Gym in February.

I see what you mean. Records can be deceiving.
