Mowing Grass

Featured Replies

I've had a headache since Friday - don't know if it the warmer weather, sinus's or what. We will be mowing grass this week though.

Oh no, it hadn't even dawned on me that I was going to have to mow soon........

No mowing yet but our neighbors decided to mow today and we had the windows open and now I have a huge headache and I am all congested.

Real high pollen count right now.

Mowed mine yesterday afternoon. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut grass.

I changed the oil and sharpened the blade Saturday morning, and then cut the front and sides Sunday morning. The back doesn't need cut yet.

Yeah, I've felt like I have a cold ever since I mowed Saturday.

Putting off my 2 hour mow job as long as I can. Like someone said once you start it's constant.

Took advantage of the nice weather and mowed yesterday. I don't mind mowing, but I hate trimming. I'll wait until the edges start looking real shaggy before I trim.

Got the boys out doing yard work Sunday afternoon, I mowed ours while our 16 year old mowed his grandma's. Have to say I always enjoy the first few, but then at the end of the summer it turns into torture!!!

Me too, I don't like trimming, I try to get as close to everything I can with the Riding Mower, even the steep banks in front of the house. Heck of a Ride.:scared::scared::scared:

Not to mention the pond I have to mow around, there's a bank that goes straight down to it then I go across the bank with my buttcheek hanging over the upperside of the mower so it won't tilt over. Whew didn't get tossed.:eek:

Go the old mower out Sunday to cut a couple areas that needed to be hit and guess what-the mower cord snapped-too bad.:ylsuper:

Thank God I still live in an apartment. With allergy problems like what I have, there are few things I hate more than mowing.

When I was younger, I used to "accidentally" mow over the odd flower or bush here and there until it got to the point where my mom said, "If you want something done right, you've gotta do it yourself," and permanently relieved me of my yard duties.

That got me out of a few years of adolescent hell. :D

When the rain is over and it is dry , my grass and I will be ready.

Yeah, and I'll be ready for round 2. As someone said earlier. Once you start, it's all over.
