March 19, 200917 yr Author AJ Stewart is supposed to be the best athlete on the Team. Liggins and Galloway are also athletic, I believe this Team needs to find some guys that can put the ball in the hole and have a high bb IQ.
March 19, 200917 yr People are questioning if he has the athletic ability to compete in the SEC. A PG cannot lack athletic ability in order to succeed. We see that with Porter. If Porter were quicker UK would get into their offense better and get better shots. An average athlete by D1 standards is going to struggle in the SEC. Its why Slone doesn't get PT. Lack of offers from major D1 schools should also be a concern. Lastly, UK already has guards that struggle defensively on the perimeter. Do we need another one? They question Chris Lofton athletic ability to. If you let him go to another school, then your going to be like your crazy. After four years Lofton prove it is not the size of the dog but its the fight in him. You had Crawford, Bradley and Rondo that year if you recall. Coming out of high school Tubby made the right call but four years later everyone was :madman:.

Cliff Hawkins was not highly athletic. Kyle Macy was not highly athletic. Would you take any of these guys right now?

Instead, we have perimeter players that let their man penetrate which breaks down the defense. Instead, we have guys that start an offense from 40 feet out because despite their IQ they can't get away from their defender.
