March 17, 200917 yr Author I know a lot about OSU and I think there a year away from beating FL. FL has too much experience. OSU is really changing into more of a pure speed team but there gonna be too young next year. Pryors JR year will be very interesting. Florida's run may be hitting a slight speed bump after this season. Tebow will be graduating and John Brantley, who is no where near the athlete or player IMO that Tebow was. They will also be losing Brandon Spikes on D. Hopefully Urabn can keep up the recruiting and they can pick up the pieces.

March 17, 200917 yr I'd put the chance at UT beating Florida at slightly less than 0% this year. I agree with you even though I'm a UT fan. Hopefully in 2010 things will change in Knoxville.

March 17, 200917 yr My guess would be Tennessee on September 19th. Florida has not gotten out of the blocks quickly under Urban Meyer, and Tennessee has, perhaps, the best defensive coach in all of football. I say the Vols have a shot in that they catch Florida early. Tennessee has a record of zero wins and four loses against Urban Meyer. Tennessee will beat Florida again someday just not this year. GO GATORS.
March 17, 200917 yr A few things... 1) While UT will not beat the Gators next season, a lot of people are acting like Tennessee has no talent on their team. That is far from the case. They have top 10 talent today. Fulmer was still bringing in kids, just not producing. We will see with Kiffin. 2) I think LSU will be tough next season and could challenge Florida. Great class with some immediate impact guys and with potentially their answer at QB, as evident in last year's bowl game. They can match up with Florida man-to-man. 3) Out of conference Texas, USC, etc. will have enough to take down the Gators. Florida has yet to go through a season unblemished.

The only quarterback coming in this year is AJ McCaron from Mobile, Alabama. He's a 4-Star recruit per Scout, and the #17 quarterback for the class of 09. I really like the QB they brought in last season, Star Jackson from Lake Worth, Florida. He's a big QB at 6-3, 200 pounds and runs a 4.5 40. If anyone would like to read up on him, or watch the tapes, send me a PM and I'll send you the link. I think Jackson, along with Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and Julio Jones would make Bama's offense quite exciting to watch.

My roommate is a huge Canes fan, so I watched him frequently, he's not a bad athlete or passer, he just makes bad decisions on and off the field. Hopefully the young man can sit out a year, do some reflecting, grow up and put his troubled season behind him

March 17, 200917 yr Just to be on topic and serious for a minute... As good as Tebow is, I can't see them winning back to back, without help from Rainey and Demps. Take away Harvin and Tebow was the bulk of the running attack last year. See SEC Championship Game for backup. I think you are going to see more and bigger spy backs keying on Tim. They have to have another running outlet. The O-Line is key, too. They've got 2 starting tackles to replace. Is Carl Johnson done? Will Meyer throw him off the team?
