mcpapa Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Two 1970s sitcoms that are school-based. Eastland School or James Buchanan High?
oldrambler Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Kotter, absolutely no question! Arnold Horshack.....Hellooooo Mr. Katta...oh,oh,oh!
MountainThunder Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 How can you even compare these two!! 'Up your nose with a rubber hose'
oldrambler Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Sweat Hogs of the world (and BGP) unite! I am in. :ylsuper:
PureFan Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Loved both of them but Jo from Facts of life is one of my favorites!
Jim Schue Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Mr. Kotter, and it's not even close. The lovely Marcia Strassman didn't hurt, either.
Jim Schue Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Welcome Back Kotter by a clear mile. Kotter in a run away IMO. And I've got the note from my mother to prove it!
mcpapa Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 And I've got the note from my mother to prove it! Signed, Jim Schue's mother.
mcpapa Posted March 12, 2009 Author Posted March 12, 2009 My favorite Kotter episode was the one where a neighboring school was going to fight the Sweathogs. To nip it in the bud, the Sweathogs showed up at the other school; Mr. Woodman was decked out in leather jacket, eliciting the response; "That's the oldest punk I ever saw." Then when Barbarino did his strut, one of the toughs from the other school said, "And I thought we was remedial."
JPP Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Kotter, absolutely no question! Arnold Horshack.....Hellooooo Mr. Katta...oh,oh,oh! :thumb:
