Do you all think BCG also told Miller not to shoot? It appears that way to me. I don't think even Miller even looked at the basket and though while he is not always aggressive, I've never seen him this passive. I think that may be why he committed 6 turnovers in 15 minutes. He was forcing passes over the top and I wonder if BCG told him he wasn't allowed to shoot.

Meeks will be back next year.

Meeks has been playing shooting poorly since the Ole Miss game with the exception of Arkansas. He has been forcing way too many shots. He simply will not pass the ball when he drives.

I think BCG just wanted him to work it through the post a little.

I understand he takes a bad shot every now and then, but Id rather have him take a bad one than see some other guys shoot period. This is going to get blown out of proportion. I see it as something said in the heat of battle as of right now. Obviously Meeks isn't happy, but who would be with losing as much as we have lost lately.

That's just what I was thinking. :lol: I have questioned several of Gillispies in game bench coaching and adjustments but to tell Meeks not to shoot the ball? :ohbrother: I can't buy into that at all.

Now this I can believe, maybe for Meeks to go inside to Patterson and then inside/out the ball but definately not to shoot.

I am sure that BCG wanted him to stop forcing some of his shots. He really didn't start doing this until the end of the season when UK started playing so poorly. For most of the year, he didn't force his shots. The past few weeks, he has.
