Okay, about the only similarities is that they're sitcoms of approximately the same time period and they start with the letter G. However, I felt in my heart of hearts that they were both worthy of inclusion in this run of 1960s TV polls.

Gilligan's Island...though admittedly I have only seen a couple of episodes of Get Smart.

I agree but I chose Get Smart, the phone in the shoe was hilarious along with as another has said only with me Gilligan....... "Missed it by that much".

I have a CD of TV theme songs. Many times I have pulled up to drive-through windows or toll booths, and at that very moment I start the Gilligan's Island theme song.

 

No matter what kind of mood the attendant is in, they ALWAYS get a big smile on their faces!
