Most seem to agree next year is huge for BCG/UK. What do you consider successful?

- Not losing to teams they should defeat (i.e. Gardner Webb, VMI, etc.)

- 11 conference wins

- Sweet 16

Making the tournament next year would be a big improvement.

24 wins (not counting postseason tourney play) and a NCAA berth. Possibly winning the SEC East title (which they actually competed for this year until the end).

Winning the SEC east and sweet 16.

For me, with Orton and Hood coming in, Miller improving, and if Patterson and Meeks stay, I say UK should win the SEC outright, and a deep run in the tournament. Granted, they must find a point guard or we will have the same kind of season that we have had the past two years.

.500. I think Patterson is gone. Orton is going to be good, but there have been very few freshman big men that have not struggled in their first season. All those calling for 24 wins, etc. remember, UK will still have Porter running the point...

And we could have had a healthy Jasper this season.

True a healthy Jasper would have been extremely helpful and IMO would have added at least 2 more wins to the win total.

All of those thinking that Hood is going to come in and be some kind of animal are mistaken IMO. Orton will play immediately because we have no other option. Stevenson will play the 4, Miller the 3, Meeks the 2, and Porter the 1.

You think Stevenson will play over Pilgrim?

I can settle for this.

I honestly don't think Patterson will leave. He will have the opportunity to play his natural position with Orton coming in and he will greatly improve his draft stock by showing what he can do as a forward.

That being said I expect a good year out if I'm next year. Anything less than 12-4 in the SEC will be a disappointment.

I think they will share minutes.

Way to early to tell.

If Meeks and PP come back then I see UK winning the SEC Overall.

Making it to at least the Sweet 16.

Pilgrim is a stud. I like him alot better than Stevenson.
