I know that he played against Bell the first time but I am not sure about the second but I think that he did.

No, just had a hard time getting carries in a loaded KC backfield. I look for him to shine this season. If you didn't see it, I posted this video in another thread.

Merida will be something else to see.

I have to agree with the above post. He was in a solid mix and was not totally able to show all he could do last year. Look for him to shine this season. The kid can play some football.

Two nice adds for the panthers are Turpin and yes another Canady that runs like a deer and strong as a horse

 

I seen the Canady kid play in Middle School. He could be a big time back for Knox Central in the future.

They have a good chance of being 6-0 when they travel to Bell County.

They better be. 2 of the 6 teams had a winning record last year. I don't know what Coach Mills is thinking. He isn't going to get any better playing 3 class A teams. maybe a reason behind it. Coach Mills has done some great things down there so far.

Williamsburg and Somerset will be tough, although they are smaller class size. They both has size and speed that dwarfs Knox Central. Knox Central should win but just letting you know what those two have coming back.

I agree I think they are games that they should win. I think Somerset will be a tough first game for them. I think that if they lose one before Bell it will be that one.

I think Wburg will beat KC as well. Wburg will have to stop the run in order to get the win. Merida is a hoss back there.

You maybe correct. KC will have to defend the pass well enough to stop Moses. He will be the top QB in the area this season IMO. A few trick plays, kickoff reverse or two and the Jackets could pull the upset....make it 48-42 Jackets.

They probably do have the top QB. And I could see the trick plays I just think that KC just too much for them but I do respect your opinion.:thumb:

Just pulling for the little school in this one. More than likely KC will run it down their throats and keep the ball away from Moses. If KC puts the ball on the ground a couple of times, I could see the young QB for Knox being forced to make more plays than usual and thus an upset. Somerset and Wburg are both quality class A schools and will provide the Panthers with a diverse offensive scheme to prepare for that may benefit them once the post season arrives.

The people in Barbourville are telling me that the younger Canady will be in the mix at RB this year and they are expecting huge things from him.
