Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour at 2 am this Sunday.

Are there any of those folks out there in BGP land that are so OCD that they wait up until the "moment of truth" to set their clocks? Or worse, set their alarms for the exact time?

I'm gonna add a poll.

I use a cell phone as my alarm clock, so I guess I set mine at the exact moment. :D

For the most part, I change it when I get around to it. Typically, that is the next day in my car. I'll change it on the microwave beforehand, sometimes.

I don't have a watch, though, as I just use my cell phone. Makes DST pretty easy for me.

Yeah the only clocks in our house is the stove, and microwave. We use our cell as our alarms...no alarm clocks in our room. And we have Digital cable boxes in all the other rooms with the time on it and they change automatically. So I change the stove and microwave and car the evening before.

Evening before, and there is always one or two somewhere that we forget. Our pc and cable boxes switch automatically so that only leaves the coffee pot as my only other necessity to switch. :D

I still have a couple of clocks that I never reset this fall. They will finally be correct again this Sunday.

Obviously, OCD is not a real big problem with you. I have some, ahem, friends, that would go crazy with clocks in the house that were an hour off.

This stuff confuses the heck out of me especially when I have something I need to get up at a certain time for. I'm the guy that's always an hour late or an hour early that day

Same here.:thumb:

The first day of daylight savings is one of my favorite days of the year!!!!!!

I can't wait, the winter months are way to dark and dreary for me. It's OK for the first part of the time change, plenty of holiday cheer but once the new year rolls around I want some sun and warm weather.

I have some of those "friends" too.

The clocks in my house remind me of the scene in Animal House where the guys are preparing to trash the town parade and they are supposed to synchronize their watches, but when we see their watches, all of them show a different time.

Use my cell phone for my alarm. I'll change my room clock and microwave clock the night before so when I get up in the morning, I won't be freaking out thinking I'm an hour late. Then I'll change my car clock that morning on the way to work.
