Why would a High School want to hire a Head Coach that is not Certified?? There is more to Coaching than just practice and play. A Head Coach needs to be with his team at all times. Just being with them in the Halls at school means so much, to a sports program.

There is a lot of people who would make great coaches but are not teachers.

With his cousin being AD it makes sense. I said earlier that politics would win out in this hire. I just don't think he is ready for the head position.

I believe Fleming needs a proven head coach. Maybe take Jay under their wing and let him get some seasoning in the high school game. Get rid of the other assistants that were there with Fraser. You dont need 5 assistants on the bench. 3 assistants at the most would be sufficient.
