Huh...not a bad move depending on what picks they gave up.

This link says they are working on a new deal for Winslow. He'll probably get paid well, considering Tampa has plenty of cap room.

Coming from a Browns fan, I love the guy and most of the time seemed like he was the only guy on the team that gave a crap. He gave 110% on every play. At the same time, he had a tendency to blow up. If we got some decent picks out of him, then it wont be all bad. He still was our best receiver though on a team that had no identity on either side of the ball last year.

I'm very surprised about this one, but I agree, it could work out depending on what picks were given up.

I'm going to take a guess here and say that Cleveland would have not given up Winslow like this unless they were given at least a 1st round pick and some other rounds as well.

My guess is they gained a 1st round pick, a 3rd, and maybe a 5th/6th for trading Winslow, but thats just a guess.

Nope... knowing the Browns he was traded for a 6th and a 7th.

I think they'd have taken a 2nd rounder and something else...

I like the deal for Cleveland personally.

I have K2 on my fantasy team and not sure what to expect out of him in Tampa...

That's one way to try and put the puzzle back together.

No chance it was that much.

There is a chance, but is a very slim chance.

I'd say it's more likely that they got something like a 2nd and a 4th.

I will agree. Winslow was a talented TE in a system, which didn't have a solid QB.

Does Tampa have a solid QB??? I would think No.

Wasn't commenting on Tampa, but more the lack of a solid QB in the Browns program. Winslow would get a lot of looks but the inability to sustain drives and pass protection, wasn't conducive to success.

Maybe Winslow will have success with a club, who are more balanced offensively.
