I think what MSUeagles is saying is that he will put up the Elliott 3 as far as athletes. Plus the athletic ability of SV was definetly not the problem in that game bcause SV did not have better atheltes just better game plan & executed it.

Athleticism didn't have a lot to do with Shelby Valley beating Elliott. Justice is a great athlete, but the loss should've had Mayes looking in the mirror after the game. That's my opinion of course.

I would put those 3 up against anyone in the state.

I think this is the game to see in KY tonight (with apologies to some other pretty good matchups)... wish I could be there.

 

I wouldn't be surprised at ANY outcome between these two, and I think playing at EC will definitely be an advantage to Elliott, albeit perhaps not the culture shock that has been implied. (and yes, I've been through just about ALL of Eastern KY many, many, MANY times)

 

I'm picking Ballard by the slimmest of margins...both teams are very athletic, but I'd give Ballard a slight edge in that department, and I'm betting the team that hits their FTs will win this one in a barn-burner.

As for Ballard.... I don't know. Unlike some, I refuse to make a prediction because I have not seen each team play (in person).

That's silly, this is no place to make such comments. I have read all these post & they are just in good fun! All except maybe about getting sick on the roads as we all know that can happen & may just happent to a few. This comment is taking this to a whole differnt level & is simply not the place.

 

:thumb: Great post, I 100% agree and if their had been any post that I considered even close to that I would have alerted the mods. There is imo absolutely nothing here with racist tones to it :ohbrother:. As you said it was just people having some good natured fun. I know my post were meant that way.

Since this thread has started to take tones of accusations like that I don't go for that kind of thing and I am through with it.

 

I will only say that I can certainly relate to fans of a small Class A school getting behind their team and giving them some well deserved praise (Raceland football ) and I believe that is all this is, so from one small Class A school (Raceland) fan to others............Good luck to Elliot in winning the game and may both teams stay injury free.:thumb:

Elliott's big 3 are great basketball players, but simply aren't as athletic as a lot of kids in the state.
