There will be a H-O-R-S-E Competition in this years All Star Game festivities. What do you think about the old backyard game added to the events?

I think they should do P.I.G. to make it a little shorter but I don't think its that bad of an idea. The Dunk contest will be irrelevant most likely unless Howard pulls a rabbit out of his hat.

I think it is a great idea. We need more shot makers in the NBA.

I can't wait to see the crazy shots

Off the wall, over the rafters, one bounce........nothing but net.....

Does anyone have any idea who will participate? It will either be very entertaining or lame IMO.

You want to see some shots, go to youTUbe and search for Pistol Pete Maravich winning the NBA Horse competition.

I think this will be legit.

I'm actually pretty interested in seeing this. Should be a nice event to add to the NBA festivities. Until players like Lebron, Kobe, and other "stars" compete in the dunk contest, we'll never truly see the best dunks.

It's actually going to be G-E-I-C-O they paid for the rights to it...

Smart move by Geico. Bill Simmons has only been calling for this for about 5 years. I think it's a great idea.

I think it's GREAT! Spent many nights of my life winning horse games because my best friend had little basketball skills. When it got tight I would just reverse layup and he was done. On the flip side he would tick me off with his granny shot over and over that was dead on! He was great at football + baseball but awful at basketball!

Yea these guys have been shooting a b-ball for 20+ years and they're REALLY REALLY good at it. I'm sure we'll see some really neat shots. Maybe not like Bird and Jordan used to have in their comercials, but pretty good I'm sure.

Everyone remember this.
