Brohm out at Louisville

Featured Replies

Coach Krap announced today that Brohm is leaving. Krap did say he offered Jeff a job in a non coaching roll. I think that is the one Krap should have taken.

I wish Jeff the best of luck. He will be a head coach one day and hopefully he won't run the score up on the Cardinals when he does.

Wouldn't you think by now that with as many assistant coaches he has gone through that Kragthorpe would might start to think "Maybe IT's ME"

Kragkooper named himself the new OC, it's all on him now and he can not hide or fire himself. Do or die time!

I agree with you. There is only one common factor to cause kids and coaches to leave.......... I am done with giving this coach any kind of support. Yes I will continue to support those young men wearing teh red & black. There is not much hope right now that he can turn this ship around.

Everytime I hear Coach Krap's name I want to.........:puke:

Wow, the U of L program is in shambles. How did this happen so fast?

The Brohm name has been synonymous with U of L athletics for many, many years. Their contributions cannot even begin to be measured. To them, I say thank you.

All year you read a lot of negative comments about the Offense and their coach, and now some of you are upset that the head man wanted a change. He is the head Coach and he has a job to do and is trying to do just that.

Brohm was not the problem. In all my years of following football, I have never seen a program fall apart at the seams like Louisville has.:deadhorse:

I don't think you'll find any person more grateful, or more appreciative of the Brohm tradition in Louisville football, and not just at U of L. But I agree with you 100%, AL. I don't think this indicates Jeff Brohm is being blamed, but that Coach K is looking to proceed in a direction he doesn't feel Jeff Brohm is the right man to take the offense.

I wonder, if Coach K succeeds with this strategy, will he still be hated and questioned?

From what I understand the probelm with the offense was Coach Krap over ruling what the OC was calling. Not allowing the OC to get into a rythem. Then when things went bad he would put it back on the OC.

Bottom line when the keys of the program were given to the Coach all he had to do was give it a tune up. Instead he decides to over haul a smooth running machine.

It's time to find a new driver instead of constant changing of the parts.

He has only on direction to go..................up.

But, that doesn't answer my question. If Coack K is successful going forward, will he still be hated for the 2 seasons when everything was in turmoil?

Yes he caused this dislike. He only can go up now that he destroyed in two years what it took Howard, John L, and Bobby to build.
