SI reporting ARod tested positive for Steroids...

I think "A-Roid" is more appropriate now.

I could think of another good name for him that starts with A, but I'll go with yours :thumb:

There have been a lot of people on the "inside" - i.e., Radomski, McNamee, Conseco, and others - who have named specific names. Some of those names have been borne out to be true or certainly seem to be. But, as far as I know, not one single person has ever alleged or even insinuated that Griffey used. In today's age when everybody is willing to point fingers at everybody else, I do think it says something that NO ONE has ever pointed a finger at Griffey.

:clap::thumb:

Derek Jeter would be one that I do not believe would ever or has ever used them.

I may give up on baseball players all together if it was found out and proven that Jeter had. :idunno:

Pujols is a really big man too. If ARod did them I wouldn't be suprised by anybody.

You would think by body types guys like Jeter+Griff didn't do them but we'll never know I don't suppose. I would like to think they didn't. Isn't one of the side effects after you get off them more injury prone?

Should we ever hear that Pujos had used steroids, etc. I certainly would not be suprised at all.

As I said before, I would be absolutely shocked if Jeter has and I honestly don't think that Griffey has.

I'm really not either....with his lack of morals in his personal life, how could expect that he would practice his profession in a different manner.....now there's no real hope!!!

I wish Ryan Howard could get near the HR record....he's all natural...at least I think or hope that to be true.

Ryan Howard was probably juicing, as well.

Thinking back on it, they were probably all juicing. How about Cecil Fielder coming out of nowhere?

I don't believe Cecil was at all, he doesn't have the physique or work ethic to be juicing....if you have seen Ryan Howard's heritage, I think I find it hard to think he was on the juice.

I'd be suprised if those two did two. In this day and time nothing really shocks me when it comes to steroids and baseball during that era. I'll be honest when McGwire, Sammy, Bonds were smashing the ball it was fun watching them.

I grew up in love with baseball. Baseball wallpaper in my rooms, baseball cards everywhere, when I wasn't playing baseball with the guys in the neighborhood I was throwing off my chimney or pitchback. When they went on strike it left a really bad taste in my mouth. The HR era kind of brought me back some still not like I used to be. These last two years I'm starting to come around again. I am really dissapointed that ARod used them but I knew watching the games that those big HR guys were probably using + so was a large amount of the league. Now I kind of feel refreshed that it should get back to being a lot more of a pure sport.

As much as Griffey was hurt, if he was juicing he was doing it wrong.

I don't believe that Griffey ever did, and with today's findings I wish he stayed healthy for his whole career.

I don't find it h ard to believe that anyone was on the juice during that period. As for Fielder - he was a nobody. Then, he came out of nowhere to hit 50 homers and some of them went OUT of Detroits stadium. He may be innocent, but he sure came out of nowhere. Brady Anderson is another one that comes to mind as suspicious.

He doesn't look like he took them, and didn't need to with his talent. Just stupid...

Here is Fielder's rookie card in 1986:
