Terrible call to end the game.

That's tough of the kid to hit all 3 FT's though. That is big-time ice in the veins.

Don't feel too bad....the refs made a terrible call two years ago in the 10th region semi's between Clark & Scott with Scott up by 1 and sent Stenzel to the line and he drained both to give them the lead. Scott did have a chance to win, but missed the shot. Still, the refs screwed up and it changed the game big time.

Wow is all you can say. He didn't get fouled. It's terrible that a call decides the game, but Mason Co shouldve made their free throws and that call wouldn't have mattered.

Shouldn't have that foul be on the floor anyway? Really didn't even look like a foul.

They also blew the Preston Knowles shot that went behind him in the 2007 10th Region Final. These teams will meet again and it should be a great game once again.

I was thinking the same thing.

Mason Co. has been unable to hit free-throws all year. This will hurt them come tourny time.

How would that shot have been on the floor? He was def in shooting motion! The way I see it is if it wasn't a foul they wouldn't have called it!

Good thing for Mason Co is that this isn't the Region.

 

I didn't get to see the game in person but watched it. Hope to watch these teams play in the region. This will only fire up Mason Co next time these two teams play.

Not according to Danny on WFTM, he said there was contact. But, it shouldn't have mattered, let a ten point 4th qtr. lead slip away and again free throws down the stretch could have won it.

And if they didn't call it you would've complained that it was a foul. It's easy for the winning team to say it was a foul and the losing team to say it wasn't. I think it wasn't a foul and it's a crappy way to end a great game.

I'll agree this game was poorly officiated but at the end when he turned to shoot he got him on the arm and with his body sliding over. I agree it is easy for people of each team to have there opinions but like said before that call should never have needed to be called. Mason missed a lot of FT's down the stretch and that's what cost them the game.
