It's the Bob Allen Pig Skin Classic at Admiral Stadium. It's the first time Boyle has joined the Ads in this venture and I hope it's a portent to things to come. :thumb:

The Boyle Rockcastle game could be very revealing. Lots of comparing will be done after Rockcastle plays Bell. Rockcastle could be a huge spoiler if they could beat both Boyle and Bell.

[/b] Now thats a strong statement. I have watched Rockcastle since they played in the Rebel bowl for youth football in 2004. He may be good in the open field but scoring every time he gets beyond the line of scrimmage is a tall order.

 

Let me correct my self then, If you miss him in the secondary, no one catches him. He is fast and hard to bring down one on one.

I will say that they will be doing alot with Bourbon from here on out as long as Poynter is at Bourbon.

Three Rockcastle players are going to EKU camp tomorrow, Bullens, "Big" Thacker, and Abney. These three will be in the group from Rockcastle going to Hawg Heaven. I think Abney & Thacker are going to UK & WKU next week. I hope the extra work pays off, several of the boys are still hitting the weights hard.

 

The boys got back from Joe Prince's Hog Heaven lineman camp late tonight. There was eleven attending with two going to skills camp and nine linemen at the Hawg Trough. I hear the boys did Rockcastle proud with Abney and "Big" Thacker leading the group. They toed up to some of the big boys including players from Owensboro and Scott County and held their own. I also heard that it was an excellent camp for some of the younger linemen that attended and that the staff of the camp had much praise for the Rock's boys. :thumb:

They also said something about a certain Scott County coach making off with Joe's bullhorn....I reckon he'll have to go to Georgetown to get it back.

The Rock boys looked very good and it was a great camp. Coach Prince and the rest of the coaches go all out to make sure the players work hard and learn a lot. Our boys were tired by the last practice but all they could talk about was what a great camp it was! Good luck to Rock in 09!

I know that Boyle Co beat them in the final four. I think that they won their division. I know that they had a loss from Pineville during the day.

No commander, Pineville beat them! Pineville won that division.
