January 26, 200917 yr I have two and get them frequently: 1) I have just gotten my college report card and realized that I did not show up for a class the entire semester and flunked. 2) I am in some type of confrontation in which I have to pull my weapon and do not have the strength to pull the trigger and am killed. Have had them for years and years and assume I'll just have them forever. That's scary, I've had both of these dreams from time to time. Only difference is on #1 I realize I never went to class when I show up to take the final, not when I get the report card.
January 26, 200917 yr I have a recurring dream that comes every few years. I am at my home I had as a young child, in the backyard, which backs up to a mesa (canyon hillside). The sky is a deep pink as if at the moment of sunset. A giant screeching bird of prey comes out of the canyon over the mesa at me, I try to get inside the sliding glass backdoor, but it is locked. I can tell that people are in there not letting me in, but it is too dark inside to tell who. I usually wake up in a cold sweat about the time I am fighting off the biards beak and claws by throwing things at it. I have never died or been carried away before waking up. There is also a very eerie sound in the dream. The other day, I was awakended by what I thought was an extremely loud crack and an extremely scary voice that said the name "Danny Tartabull." Some of you will recognize that name. However, my wife was sleeping peaceably, the children were fine, the dogs were asleep, and nothing happened inside or outside the house. I never met Tartabull, never saw him play, was not a fan of him or his teams. Somebody figures those out for me.
January 26, 200917 yr I took a clinical psychology class back in the day. Yhe instructor was big on something called "Senoi Dream Theory". He claimed to have worked with folks who were not able to walk, for example, to assist them to walk, run or fly in their dreams. I am a very cynical person by nature, but sometime in the semester than I took the psych class, I had my first ever "flying dream" where I didn't wake up before the end of the flight. Make of it what you will. http://psych.ucsc.edu/dreams/Library/senoi.html

Can't help you on the first one, other than to say that you believe that unknown people are more likely to do you harm than to help you. On the second, perhaps you're a Seinfeld devotee?
January 26, 200917 yr I have a recurring theme in my dreams where I'm always trying to get somewhere but certain obstacles or things happen to where I never make it to where I'm going.
January 26, 200917 yr I had the worst dream the night before last. I was in my car driving and had just left my boyfriends house, and my phone starting ringing. I answered it, but the phone went black and I heard static. Then I actually felt someone sit on the bed next to me, and I started to panic, and felt like someone was pressing down on my chest. I couldn't breathe or talk. It was horrible.
January 26, 200917 yr I have two reoccuring dreams. 1. Suddenly all my teeth start to fall out, different variations, just like formerkywrestler posted. 2. I have a dream that, after working many years as a nurse, I find out that I flunked an exam and no one caught it. It would have made me flunk out of nursing school. I have to forfeit my license. When I was younger I had a reoccuring dream that I was falling....like falling off a cliff or a building. Many years ago when I used an electric blanket, I had very bizarre, tough not reoccuring dreams. They stopped when I stopped using the blanket.

January 26, 200917 yr I have heard that some people in your dreams that you don't know, are people that you have seen before just on the streets or whatever. I think that is kinda weird.
January 27, 200917 yr I have had reoccuring dreams the past new night. I dreamt that my family was moving to Baltimore. Very odd.....
January 27, 200917 yr Man I can't wait to go to sleep tonight. Not sure if Ill fall off a bridge, lose all my teeth, try to run from a stranger that I passed on the street only to find my legs won't move making me late for the final I never attended class for or just not remember anything. Hopefully Ill dream about the girls from Friday Night Lights in another thread.

January 27, 200917 yr I have two recurring dreams about golf. One is that I am inside a building and can't play my way out. The second is that I'm on the first tee, but can't get lined up. Something is in the way every place I try to tee up - a tee marker, a tree, etc.
January 27, 200917 yr I haven't been there in a while, but if you need advice about some of the neighborhoods... Ever seen the television show The Wire? I'm scared to go.
January 27, 200917 yr I had one as a kid that would occur about once a month. I would be asleep (in my dream) and my dog would come in and wake me up. It would always take me a second to realize that my dog is supposed to be locked in the garage so I would go to investigate. When I would get to the garage the door would be shut like it's supposed to be. However, when I opened the door there was a guy standing there with a gun. My legs wouldn't move and if I tried to scream nothing came out. Then I'd wake up (in real life).
