January 27, 200917 yr Didn't see the laughing on the bench...but, from the game footage, no way anyone can say with certainty he did that on purpose. I'm not defending him...I'm merely saying that you can't say anything beyond doubt based on what I saw. And, you can't throw the book at a guy without airtight proof that he did it intentionally. But, it's not like Budinger was hurt at all. Also, what if this was a fight where punches were thrown? They would get kicked out of that game and a 1 game suspension, maybe 2 at the most. He embaressed himself and his university and gets an "oh just don't do it again." 3 games would have given him something to think about.
