I am beseiged every G.S. cookie season by evil young girls who know that I can not resist Thin Mints or Samoas. We buy Thin Mints by the bushel, freeze them, and I use them in milkshakes and as cake crusts and all sorts of year-round cooking.

Good idea. Maybe I should get more. I never thought of milkshakes. YUMMY!

I'm ALL about the Samoas! For me, there's simply no other Girl Scout cookie. However, in keeping with my resolution to lose weight, I haven't bought any this year. I've avoided the guilt of not buying any by grocery shopping very late at night, when I know they should be sleeping, and by avoiding the people I work with who I know have daughters selling cookies. But, when my daughter was a Girl Scout, which was for 7 years, I bought at least 2 cases of them each time. I'd also buy a single box of Tagalongs and Do-Si-Dos for the kids. :D

I love the Samoas. It's been awhile but I remember stopping at the Party Source in Newport and their were Girl Scouts set up and they were selling Lemon cookies, they were pretty good too.

It's my little girl's 1st year in Girl Scouts... I'm in for about 15 boxes already. She's doing pretty well for 6 yrs. old!

Peanut Butter Patties

I'll buy as many as I can afford of Samoas and Trefoils.

My grandaughter called and said to me "Nana how many can I put you down for?" I loved it, I bought 12 boxes but now that I'm trying to loose, I guess I'll give them to my sons to eat. LOL

I use to like Scot-Tees (similar to Trefoils but much better). Not sure what happened to them--haven't been around in years.

Yeah I am with you on the losing weight part. I figure since here and there I allow me a little cheat, that will be it. I will freeze the Thin Mints and grab one here and there. They will def. satisfy my need for a sweet chocolate item lol.

I LOVE the thin mints. I usually order 3 or 4 boxes, but I really should order more. I can eat a whole box in one sitting. Bad, I know, but they are so good!

Thin mint!

Just got my shipment in today. I think I will eat them as quick as possible to get them out of my house. They are going to kill my diet.

I'm not a big candy eater, but I usually buy them from several kids to help them with a good cause. And scouting is great for these youngsters.

The Samoas are unreal, but unfortunately don't have a place anymore in my diet. If I had the willpower to each just one or two at a time, perhaps, but past experience has shown I tended to each a box or two at a time. Not a good thing . . . .
