Obama, wishing him well or to fail?

Featured Replies

I wish him well, of course. I hope that his ideas are right and mine are wrong, simply for the benefit of the country and its people. However, if his policies do fail, I hope that America has the vision to be able to see that as well, so that we can learn from our mistakes.

I wish the country well.

Me too ! But I have to tell you I am as fearful as I have ever been for this country and the group that has been put in place to run it. The new voters that helped to put Obama in office are currently on a transparent high. If he is not sucessful they will be on a highly visible low.

I think in so many things that not important but puts a shallow impact on this country will be positive.

Those things that are the core and backbone of this country will be attacked and handled negatively. More unborn babies will be allowed to be killed in this country and that will be overlooked. And yet somehow people will claim that we have more respect across the world while more unborn babies are being killed here in the US. Somehow, they will claim that we are better off as a country while the very core of this country is being attacked.

I wish him well, the laternatives don't bode well for any of us.

I wish him well, as it would do no good for any of us if he does poorly. I just hope that IF he does not do well, the public can see that.

I wish him well. I just wish the media and all others so entranced and mesmerized by his charisma would take a step back and realize he is just a mortal like everyone else.

After 9/11 the press was like that with Bush. They'll turn on him eventually, just like they do every person of significance in this country. Gotta have a story to write about.

I don't want any US President to fail. I didn't vote for Obama, and never in my life will (unless he changes his viewpoint on certain issues), but I hope he is a good president.

I will wish him well even though I didn't vote for him and I will be the first to say I told you so. No man can change everything.

I don't understand how you could want him to fail. Do you live in the United States and pay taxes and suffer the same hardships that many of us suffer. How could you wish bad things on to other people in order to prove an irrelevant point.

I was thinking out loud.

Trying to put into words whats going through my head and probably a lot of others.

In reality I want him to be successful in getting the country back on track economically respected(yet feared) internationally but fail miserably at implementing some of his policies.

Is that wrong?

Why is it right?

Why is it right?

If he disagrees with certain policies it would be right to want Obama to fail in those policies.

However, that's not how JD put it. His only reason for wanting a successful Obama adminstration was that people who didn't vote for Obama would suffer.

On the one hand, I want the new messiah to fail so desperately miserably that even Nancy Pelosi votes Republican in the next presidential election. Russia invades Ukraine, Hungary and Czechoslovakia with eyes on Poland too. Riots in major cities because the welfare check STILL isn't enough. Taxes so high many businesses close shop and the CEO's who can move to Costa Rica. Crime skyrockets, the stock market never moves above 7,000 and a terrorist with a dirty device is discovered only moments before....

But to wish that would also mean the millions who did NOT vote for this circus would suffer too. Mass unemployement, rampant inflation, gun bans, the works.

Anybody that wishes Obama to fail is an idiot...JMO.
