Carroll missed the front end of the bonus with 13 seconds left. Gallatin rebounds then calls timeout. After a missed shot ball is tipped around, Davis rebounds with a shot from the right block and is fouled. A legit foul, Carroll grabs her arm as she shoots. After Carroll calls timeout to ice Davis, she steps to the line and gets nothing but net on both shots to seal the victory.

Congrats to Gallatin County on the win and the especially the young lady who stepped up to the line with .3 to go and flat out nailed those free throws. Carroll has nothing to be ashamed of but need to work on holding a lead. Neither team could throw it in the ocean in the 2nd half.

Congrats 2 both teams. THe first half was one of the best played an most exciting halves ive seen in a while. Both went cold the 2nd half but part was due 2 the great defensive intensity by both. A Game played this well an hard neither deserves 2 lose. Both teams had a great tourny an both coaches did a great job. This was what a championship game should look like.

WOW! Unbelievable is all I can say! It was long overdue! To be a parent of one of the players and to coach some of these players since the third grade with the help of another parent I am speechless!

Several teams from this tourney have the potential to make some noise in the 8th region tourney come March. With a bit of luck when the pills are taken out of the bottle on region draw day, one of these teams just might make it to the final game of the region. With so much parity within the region this year - excluding SK and AC - anything is possible this coming March. Some very interesting events may be taking place in Crestwood that week.
