HT721
Game wasn't as close as score indicates Ole Miss lead by 15 to 20 most of the game and Arkansas got about 8 points back in the final 1:30 to make the score somewhat more respectable. The thing this says to me is maybe the Big 12 is the conference was overrated and the SEC basketball might be a tad underrated. Considering Arkansas beat the top two teams from the Big 12, with both of those teams being nationally ranked. Arkansas is now 0-2 in the SEC and lost by 9 and 14. The SEC might be down this year, but not as awful as they were painted in the early part of this week. Every team seems to have one or two really odd losses that pulled down the overall rating of the conference early on.

Every team seems to have one or two really odd losses that pulled down the overall rating of the conference early on. I think the SEC is just basically average from top to bottom. In today's game an average team can easily take down a Top 25 team in one game--it happens all the time. I don't necessarily think it is that the Big 12 was overrated or the SEC was underrated. I think the SEC is mediocre and any of the teams in the conference can beat any of the other teams on a given night while most of them are capable of occasionally stepping up and beating a good team. Overall, from top to bottom this is the weakest I can remember the SEC.
jahearme
Ole Miss has a pretty decent team.

NkuRoyal31
Kind of a shocker to me, but then again AK has a nice team down at Ole Miss who should never been taken lightly!
SLINK
Ole Miss is still pretty good without Chris Warren.

LCPATS
If Ole Miss had Warren, they would win the West. IMO.
HT721
If by up and down you mean bad, sure... Well Ark. beat two top ten teams from the Big 12 so are we really that bad, or are you just hoping the SEC is that bad?
gametime
Well Ark. beat two top ten teams from the Big 12 so are we really that bad, or are you just hoping the SEC is that bad? Arkansas also lost to Missouri State. They are a VERY young team that played out of their minds at home to get two big wins, and then backed it up by falling flat on their face to start the SEC. A few OOC wins doesn't change the fact the conference isn't very good...

While those two wins help the conference it doesn't mean the conference is good. Tennesse in my mind actually has the two best wins for the conference. UK has a nice one too.
