Shew, just got in from saltin' down the driveway. If Mrs. King slips and breaks a hip, I might as well take my pillow to the doghouse when she recuperates.

 

Got to listen to the game on the radio. Sounded like those young Royals did a number on the Tomcats. Sounded like the Heisman winner got Mr. Delaney in the clench and wouldn't let go. Tough to land a punch when you can't get some space. The post game fella said that the crowd wasn't much into the game, said that the Rose Hill folk expected to win and the Ashland folk were simply stunned. Short of flooding the pool again, I don't think there was much that could have stopped the Royals this evening.

 

So, the outcome simply begs the question, and I simply have to ask,,,,is this the second most embarassing moment in Ashland history?

Gambill had some giant rebounds down the stetch. I remember two crucial ones when they were trying to close out the game. I liked the fire I saw in Johhny Bush and Scott Gambill out there at the end. A great victory for the seniors.

but that call was not that hard to make. Congrats to the Rose Hill boys, Ashland is staring into a bleak future. And their roster seems to be shrinking?

Good chance Ashland doesn't make it to the regional this year.

After seeing Scott Gambill play last night I don't understand how he doesn't start. Could it be because his sister left Rose Hill.

Yeah I'm sure that's it, and it has nothing at all to do with Gambill's comments.

 

 

“I was playing bad at the beginning of the season,” he said. “I ended up doing better coming off the bench."

It amazes me the lengths people will go to in order to try and portray Rose Hill in a negative way.

Scott G. excellent game tonight was also accomplished with the fact that he is playing with a heavy heart. His grandmother (who has been a teacher at Rose Hill for many years) is very sick and has been in the hospital since a couple of days before Christmas. She had open heart surgery to replace two valves and has had complications in trying to come off the ventilator and is still in the ICU.

 

I'm sure Scott and the family would appreciate all of us BGP'ers prayers!!

Great Win for the Royals! I knew they could pull it off even at Ashland. I thought Gambell played a good game, but also did Kennedy. Someone Said he had 8 or 9 clean blocks shots! They need to get the ball inside more.
