January 13, 200917 yr I have stated several times U of L picked up a good, hardfought win. And luck played NO part in it...
January 13, 200917 yr The pressure of Louisville, affected Notre Dame late. I thought the Cardinals, were impressive most of the game and if they play like this, have a chance to be in the Final 8 or better. I really wish UofL would play man-to-man more often...
January 13, 200917 yr And luck played NO part in it... Sounds good :thumb: As a U of L fan, were you a little nervous when ND had the ball with a chance to take the last shot?
January 13, 200917 yr And luck played NO part in it... Luck plays a part in ANY game that happens to go to overtime...
January 13, 200917 yr Sounds good :thumb: As a U of L fan, were you a little nervous when ND had the ball with a chance to take the last shot? To say no would be a lie... How does that make UL lucky?
January 13, 200917 yr To say no would be a lie... How does that make UL lucky? Its my opinion that a team is very fortunate to escape in that situation.
January 13, 200917 yr If winning games against ranked teams, and against arch rivals, then I love being lucky.
January 13, 200917 yr They were also very fortunate on that missed call where the ball was touched out of bounds by the U of L player and the refs didn't see it.
January 13, 200917 yr If winning games against ranked teams, and against arch rivals, then I love being lucky. I didn't say there was anything wrong with being lucky.
January 13, 200917 yr Call it what you want, but it was another great win. This team is quickly becoming battle tested. You can call it luck, winning games at the end, but in the record book it just says W. 4 straight W's, against 3 NCAA tourny teams. This team is playing better, that can't be denied. Samuels and Jennings are coming of age. Gody got "his" but they did a good job patrolling the paint. As for the Clark comment, if 15pts and 10 boards is disappearing, then call Earl a ghost. T-Will with another monster performance: 24pts, 16boards and 8 assist. He is one of the best all-around players in the Big East. Very well said!!!!!:thumb:
January 13, 200917 yr I didn't say there was anything wrong with being lucky. I know, I don't know why so many have a problem with you calling it that. :ylsuper: It is important to win close games...
