Louisville 87 Notre Dame 73

Featured Replies

I would consider a 3 with almost no time remaining by a player who really hasnt produced this season, then a Villanova team who misses 1000 straight freethrows and a couple of hundred layups to win the game, then Notre Dame "lacking execution" lucky.

They've had a "lucky" streak. And no, not just because their Louisville. I know the red shaded glasses folks want to believe that everyone just rags Louisville... But that's not the truth. If UK was put into the situation they'd be just as lucky. Even more lucky because they're not that good.

I never mentioned any of those other games. I just think it's comical when UK fans come into a UofL thread to point out every "lucky" play for UofL, every bad call made against the other team and every missed call against the Cards and yet no mention of anything else. It's quite entertaining guys. :thumb:

Sometimes for fun I'll go read the UK message board when UofL plays. If you think it is funny over here they take it to a whole other level of absurdity.

I can take it on here, but you couldn't pay me to read that board, I've never seen so much ignorance in one place before. I can barely get on ITV anymore as well.

If Louisville is lucky Villanova missed fouls shots then Villanova is lucky because Louisville missed most all there three point shots that game. If Louisville got lucky that Sosa hit that shot Kentucky got lucky that they stole the in bounds pass from Clark a few seconds before. The Notre Dame game was either going to be a Louisville win at the end of regulation or OT and they went to OT so I would not call it lucky. Louisville was fortunate at times during those wins, but there is something to be said for raw desire and talent eeking out a win. Louisville has a lot of talent and are starting to come together but the Cards have a long way to go to be a dominate force. I hope the peak at the right time but I don't expect them to be dominating this month. Good luck to the Cats tonight I am hoping they beat Tennessee in Knoxville worst than Gonzaga.

The most interesting part is that they win.
