Popeye's restaurant

Has anyone here ate at Popeye's, either in Florence or elsewhere? Didn't even know Florence had one until the other day on a visit, had already eaten so didn't try, but like their commercials. Don't they have alot of cajun items on their menu?

We have a Popeye's down here in Paducah and it is very good...little bit of different variety than your regular fast food restaurants. And yes they have little cacjun spices...their Louisiana Chicken strips are excellent...and the red beans and rice as a side item also makes Popeye a great place to eat!!!

I love Popeye's Fried Chicken. Give me a 3 piece spicy with a biscuit and some cajun rice and we're cookin'. :thumb:

So am assuming the chicken is on the spicy side? Would you say better than KFC?

I love Popeye's because it offers menu choices that most fast food joints don't have. I usually order Red Beans and Rice or one of the other Cajun selections but the chicken is also pretty good. The food is not great but Popeye's delivers a lot of good food for the money.

Never tried a Popeyes; sounds like a place I would like, but I rarely travel alone.

Where is the Popeye's in Florence? I can't place it, but I'm guessing Dream Street since it seems like it's been 5 years since I've been down that road.
