January 8, 200917 yr It's right off the Burlington/Rt. 18 Exit 181, across from the Korean restaurant that hardly anyone ever eats at. Speaking of cajun/spicy chicken restaurants, anyone ever had any Bojangle's chicken? It's incredible, but is mostly down south. Took a baseball trip to Charleston, SC a few years back and pretty much ate Bojangle's for lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, late night snack, etc... I wish like anything they had some up around here. Ate there on the way to Mytrle Beach last spring... good stuff.
January 8, 200917 yr Thanks. The price is in line with Famous Dave's and Smokey Bones in this area. The pork roast that I just put on my ceramic grill was 98 cents/lb., although after it is cooked and trimmed, it will be closer to $1.75/lb. I've eaten at both, but for my money I prefer Hoggy's.

January 8, 200917 yr Where is the Popeye's in Florence? I can't place it, but I'm guessing Dream Street since it seems like it's been 5 years since I've been down that road. TA Truckstop. Coop knows his truck stops.
January 9, 200917 yr So my wife and I aren't the only two that notice they hardly ever have cars in their lot. I wonder how they stay in business? My wife and I had this same conversation recently. There are NEVER cars there and the place has been there for years. Has to be a front.
January 9, 200917 yr My wife and I had this same conversation recently. There are NEVER cars there and the place has been there for years. Has to be a front. I drive past that place each and every day and there is never ever any cars in that place no matter if it is a weekend, weekday, evening, afternoon or late at night and I can't for the life of me think any of the truck drivers are walking over to the place to eat. We too think it is a front for something.....
