I may have an awful memory, but I remember going to Holmes in 06/07 to watch the games. I don't remember it being at CovCath. hmm..

Holmes played Covcath 4 times in 06/07. You're probably thinking of the region championship game.

Covcath 42 Holmes 41 @ Lexcath (OT)

Covcath 46 Holmes 42 @ Covcath

Covcath 53 Holmes 50 @ Covcath (District Championship)

Holmes 72 Covcath 60 @ Holmes OT (Region Championship)

lol eww that sucks. I remember. They won everything but the game that mattered ha.

Anyways, where is it being held. I really hope it isn't at Holy Cross.

Holy Cross is hosting the 35th district this year

That wouldn't make sense looking at the rotation. Last year was Beechwood's turn to host but gave it to Holmes for a bigger gate. It is Holmes turn to host districts.

Holy Cross hosts every 4th year, and this is only the 3rd year since they last hosted.

Your right it would be Holmes turn if Beechwood hadn't have given it to them last year. Since Holmes did host districts last year it goes to HC this year. I'm pretty sure on this, but could be wrong.

According to the KHSAA website, Holmes is the host site for this year.

Since it was Beechwood's decision to give up their right last year, it does not affect the other teams rotation schedule.

The only downside to this is that its at Beechwood. Their gym can't handle the crowd. Heck, if CCH brings a strong student section, that's half of the stands. Better get there on Thursday night.

Beechwood is selling pre-sale tickets. It is going to be very crowded! This is one of the best teams in Beechwood's basketball history (if not THE best) and they want this BADLY!

Good luck Tigers!:fight::fight:

LOL.

By the way, this whole each player getting TWO guaranteed tickets is crap! I want to go to the game, but my parents obviously are getting the tickets. So I have to get there stupid early for it. ick.

I did not know that. Looks like I may be there too. Or I may just pay you to grab be a ticket.

lol whatever, if I have to wait for 2 hours you are too. Actually youll be there early anyways, duh..JV game at 6.

I mean I like getting there for the JV game, but if I get there that early and can't get in, I'll be a not happy gal.

Notre Dame has a dance tomorrow evening which could impact the Colonel cheering section to some extent? Time will tell, but I know where I would be tomorrow night and it wouldn't be on Beechwood Road if I was fortunate enough to have options.

Hey Beechwood Fan can you pull some strings and score me a couple tickets?

Good Luck to both teams especially the Red and White one.

I agree that turnovers and attitude will be the difference in this game. If CCH guards continue to turn the ball over, it will not be a contest. However, I'm not sure why they're hanging heads during the game. I thought Couch L would have nipped that already...

I know Coach Schumate won't let that happen on his squad, and with a rivalry this big and a real shot at it this year, look for BW to come out with everything but the kitchen sink...
