Yeah I agree that would be cheap.

Yeah, my brother plays for CovCath and I asked him to get me a ticket an dhe was told there is no way, that each player only got two tickets. Then I heard that Beechwood was selling presale tickets to their students and stuff. Won't be very cool if thats the truth and this game is already sold out before I even get there at 5.

Thats basically just keeping CCH students and fans out of the game, which is a big factor. Hopefully they will still be letting people in the game early tomorrow. Not cool at all if that is the case.

...and why shouldn't they? It's just as important to them to have there fans there as it is to CCH to have their fans there. It is Beechwood's Home game you know!

Yeah I mean I'm getting there early tomorrow anyways, and I will be quite upset if I can't get in. lol. Especially if the case is that Beechwood sold all the tickets presale to their students and fans. Don't know if that is the case, but man if it is, :(.

Right, so both schools should get to have fans there lol..not just one. Now who knows if that is even the case. Only giving 2 tickets per player, and then allotting the rest to your fans is kind of low.

I guess that all depends if you are in the Gym or out of the gym! Actually I think it is pretty smart on Beechwoods part ! Their kids their gym:lol:

lol, well we'll agree to disagree. Pretty childish if they hold that mentality as you think.

Covcath and Highlands have both done the same thing to Holmes in recent years.

In 04/05 Covcath students got in line at 3:00 to buy as many tickets as they could to keep Holmes fans from being able to attend. Tickets were sold out by 5:30, for a 7:30 game time.

In 05/06 Highlands sold pre sale tickets all week leading up to the game with Holmes when they were #1 and #2. Game sold out by 6:00.

I don't blame Beechwood. This is probably one of the biggest home games for them in their programs' history. They are going to try to get any advantage that they can.

The first situation is totally different. Getting there early [as I plan on doing] to get a ticket, is just luck of the draw. Selling only to your school is just cheap. I don't know how the tickets were divided up, though from what I've heard, it was all Beechwood with each CCH player basically getting their parents to come. And it could be that everything that I and others have heard about it being sold out isnt true.

As for the Highlands deal? Don't know anything about it.

I don't blame Beechwood for doing presale at all. I think it would be very low if they didn't give CCH tickets as well for some of their fans.

Ticket update:

Beechwood says they have "plenty" of adult tickets and "limited" student tickets. My advice would be to go to the school TODAY and get them if you want to ensure that you get in.

Wander if Eta has a breakdown in match ups?

I have not heard of any presale at CovCath .

I know last year Holy Cross students got there right after school to fill the gym.

Rich Maile had to have help to get in and many CovCath students did not get in but

there was no presale to HC fans only.

If Beechwood is presaleing to their fans only that is classless.

I wish all games had presales.
