So I hear about the twins splitting and going to college but where is Ferguson going and who is after him? His talk has been somewhat quiet can anyone tell me why?

I would guess its been quiet to protect the kid, but that's just my opinion.

Nothing wrong with waiting until the last minute if that is what he does, worked out for others in the past.

I would assume he just hasn't reached a decision yet.

I have heard he is going to wait until the season is over before he does anything.

 

I also heard he has some schools interested is his services.

Maybe somewhere he wants to go might have a spot, yet (transfer, grade casualty, etc.) and they can't commit yet, hard telling. A shooter like him will always find a place to play.

Keep in mind, the Initial Signing period is gone. The Regular Signing period, is as follows: April 15, 2009 - May, 2009

 

Any player can verbal, at any time but Letter of Intent, will be signed during this time. If Jonathan is not going to sign in the Initial Signing period, than he's evaluating all his options, like other players will do.

If he has big aspirations, this is definitely a smart choice. It's not like he's going to lose a chance to play by not choosing now.:thumb:

This sounds like what Preston Knowles of GRC did. He had VCU very interested and some others. In the finals of the region and state tourney, is where Louisville started to show alot of interest. Nothing wrong with holding out and hopefully the right school will come calling. The state tourney is a great place to show his skills and shine. Many young athletes have been notice/offered scholarships from playing in the sweet 16.Best of luck to this young man in choosing the right school.

They probably could mean protect him from all the guttings and bashing that kids like Euton, Zollo,and some of the others around have to put up with when it gets made public who is interested in them or where they are going.

I have been told by Mr. Ferguson he has some offers but not from the schools he has the most interest in. He is holding out to the end hoping to entice them with a great season. With the help of his teammates and coaches it could just happen. Other than that I didn't get much information about it.
