This is a hard game to read. In the games I have watched UL play this year they simply don't play that hard and is evident by them losing to teams that aren't near as talented as they are. But this is such a big rivalry game and with UL coming off a loss its a big game.

At the same time the SEC is really weak, and a win over UL could end up being big come selection Sunday (depending on whether or not UL gets straightened out). And UK in general plays harder than UL this year. I expect it to be a very close edge that could go either way. But Meeks has a big game and UK wins.

Honestly, I feel that UK will win this one fairly easy.

Like I said it could just be me, but I don't sense the typical buzz for the game this season.

 

That's cool, I was just wondering if there were any particular reason why you might have felt that way. Many of my friends who are UK fans and UL fans seem pretty pumped about it and there has been a lot of talk, at least amonst my friends.

Is it just me or does this game not seem very "big" this season?

UofL has shown that they are perfectly capable of getting beat by UK this season. I expect the Cards to win but wouldn't be shocked if they give another clunker performance.

 

I would love to see the Cards use this big game to turn the corner before the Big East starts, but who knows.

A win could be the turning point to either teams season. UK has probably met expectations while UL has underachieved a little. Early on I thought the cards could be the team to beat UNC. I think for UK to win then Porter and PS have to play almost mistake free and contribute one of their best games on offense.

As far as I know, the Cards are 100%.

So the rumor's of T-Will being suspended for the first half are false???

Another thought... If UL starts slow, it will be all bad for them, IMO. It won't be as easy to come back on UK as it was UNLV...
