Well if your not from NKY your probably confused on what goetta is. Well, I've been craving goetta for about a week now and I finally went to Kroger and bought some. Does anyone know how to cook it? If so that'd be great.

 

And for those of whom know what it is do you like it? I love goetta.

Cut it a little thick or it will fall apart while you fry it. Let it brown on one side before you flip it. (I don't like it, but my family does).

I heat shortening real hot first to make it extra crispy!!! Fried some Christmas Morning----GOOD!!

:lol: TonyDanza and I went to Cincy one weekend, to a Reds game, and what did we stumble into? Goetta Fest. We couldn't believe it...an actual FESTIVAL for GOETTA? :lol: This is one thing we agree on...we even have a slogan. :lol:
