Scott 48 South Laurel 46

Featured Replies

This is an impressive win for the Eagles. Beating South Laurel on their floor and in their tournament is quite an accomplishment. The 10th Region is doing quite well in these pre-Christmas tournaments.

One of their guards.

Which one was it?

Hiller, Murray, or Smith.

I heard Wright shook hands well after the game doing his radio show but was doing a lot of belly-aching on the post game.

Show some class.

Hiller

What a shame for a coach to be such a sore loser. Take it you lost in the tourney your supposed to win. Show some class! Way to go Eagles!!! It's now one more game with Calvary in 08' then we head into the "Dog Days of January." Tough schedule coming up so come out compete and show not just NKY your for real but the 10th and the state of KY.

I'd imagine IF it was one of those three, it would be Smith. I know Murray and Hiller and both are still playing.

WOW..just saw where someone said it was Hiller. I'm surprised.

Very sad to hear that about Nick

Yeah, heard the story. It's a shame.

Hiler is a good player. I'm surprised he would quit the team. If someone knows details I'd appreciate a PM. It's probably not appropriate to discuss any specifics in the open forum.

Sounds like the Eagles will be just fine if not better.

There are players who will step up.

One of those kids hit the game winner today.

Didn't miss a beat...actually was very impressive...beat Corbin, an athletic out of state team, and then the host.

Best and most consistent they have played all year.

All is well in Eagle land.

4 out of 4.....way to go Scott and Coach Carr. I agree with "mister cee", The internet feed was really one sided...nothing much about Scott, I couldn't even tell at first that they had won! Be safe coming home tomorrow Scott, all the fans, Coach Carr and your family!

Congrats to Scott! Sounds like they might be hitting their stride.

He has grown too accustomed to most the calls going his way, which makes it hard to take when the whistle is 50/50. Coach P. from Corbin had nothing but praise for Scott when he did his radio show after the opening game and I'm sure he was just as upset over their loss. Congrats to Scott on their impressive and gutty performance during the tourney and good luck the rest of the way.

What a performance by Coach Carr's Eagles! They have been playing much better basketball the last few games.

Proving once again, that Brad Carr is one of Kentucky's finest coaches and is one of the most well respected from all corners of the state. Everyone notices how hard his kids play and he does an outstanding job at developing talent.

Seriously? What kind of belly-aching?

Disappointed in Wright's interview on the internet feed...he could have at least given Scott some credit. Also heard he didn't shake Carr's hand afterward...thought he was better than that.

Down here we're used to it.

Congrats to Scott. I loved this team the first time I saw them play. Their coach does an amazing job, that's pretty evident in watching them play just a couple of times.
