Change in defense in the 2nd half was the difference. Keith Lowe's play on the screen pass, when he tackled the reciever in the endzone was the play of the game IMO. Bell had some great SR. leadership and they will be missed. Those seniors only lost 1 game in the last 2 years.

Congratulations to Bell County. I didn't think it would be this close but that makes it all the more sweeter. Great job on the only undefeated record in the state.

Great Job Bullitt East you guys had a great team and your guys fought hard just like I thought that you all would you all have nothing to be ashamed of you should be proud.

These last 3 games have been won by a total of 9 points by the Bobcats. But none the less the BC has found away to come thru those close games. I am very proud of their character and resilence to buckle down when needbe.

 

First undefeated season in school history. First complete season in C. Hiltons 34 year career. Plus that big fat trophy and those rings are coming to BELL COUNTY in 08.

The RB #13 for BE has some kind of heartcondition that caused him not to play for most of the 3rd quarter and his backup got hurt on the opening kickoff with a separated shoulder.That was the big difference in the 2nd half. Once the trainer's got #13 stable he went back in and tried to play.Most kids wouldn't even be playing. A very tough and courageous kid.

#13 is one hard nosed young man. I thought he was very good in the first half. But the BC def. made some adjustments in the second half that stopped the belly. I am not sure but if I were to guess I would say they had less then 5 first downs in the second half.

I concur that his body of work is awesome.

 

I still think he made some bad decisions that could have just as easily cost him the game. The 4th down call was gutsy but unnecessary if he's more imaginative in the first half from the one and tries for the FG earlier.

 

I think Bullit East deserves great credit for playing their A game and Bell for hanging in there through much adversity. I congratulate all of them. :thumb:

Bell County also turned up the heat on defense. The Bobcats yielded just six rushing yards to Bullitt East in the second half

 

Great adjustments for the Bobcat D, showing why they are ranked the best D in Kentucky. McCarthy for BE though, that kid was very good.

Congratulations to Bell County...glad they brought at least one first place trophy back to the mountains.
