I meant that Yeast wanted Yaden to do alot of the Air Raid stuff.

Because that's what he knows best.I would think with his background that's what he feels the most comfortable with.Another reason is the last coordinator said he wanted to do alot of that stuff last year.Whatever they do, I wish them the best.

I guarantee you it's going to be the AIR Raid offense.

3-4 parents complained to the principal

I'm saying how do these guys who have coached over 20 years do it and others can't.Why can some guys be great fathers as well as coaches.I've seen several guys who can't be both but others that can.What do they have that these other's don't have.If your going to hire an asst., don't open the job is all I'm saying.Three out of the last 4 coaches since Brown have been former asst's.

It's lower than that.Get on their web site and you can probably find it.All 3 head coaches make the same salary.Alot of asst coaches salaries are higher at other schools.

If they were going to hire one of the asst. coaches, why did they bother to even open the job and waste other people's time.I find it hard to believe that he was the defensive co-ordinator at Scott County when he was 24-25-26 years old.I wish him the best of luck in his new job but I noticed that he didn't have any children yet . I've seen plenty of guys quit coaching once they had kids and the boss put her foot down. Isn't this what happened with the last coach

I believe he's already passed on the chance to coach there before.I'm telling you that the coaching salary at Warren central is surprisingly low for the head coach and for the asst's. As far as pay it's in the bottom 25 % in the state.

I heard that the coaching salary is not very good .

According to their enrollment,Highlands has alot less boys than Boyle or Bell. The KHSAA let them play up.

Highlands beats Bell and Boyle and wins 3A by 3 td's I watched evey team mentioned play and if they play 10 times Highlands wins 9 out of 10 no matter where the game is played.Bell might have won a couple of more in their past if it wasn't for Highlands. Best thing ever happened for Boyle and Bell is this new classification system.5 A is alot tougher than 4A in my opinion.

I thought a huge play in the game was after BEast took the 7-0 lead and had a chance to go up 14 when they drove the ball down the field again and threw a play action pass on 1st down. The pass was just barely tipped by the DB that was beaten on the play. If the QB had just waited 1 more second to throw the ball the receiver would have even been more wide open and BE would have been up 14-0. The safety was on a TE screen and the play was made by the DE.The td pass on 4th down by Bell was a great call but the safety for BEast screwed up. The DC for BE had just told him during the timeout to stay with the TE.

With 6 classes look for these teams to continue to go to state finals. Look at what happened this year 5 out of 6 champions went Back to Back

The RB #13 for BE has some kind of heartcondition that caused him not to play for most of the 3rd quarter and his backup got hurt on the opening kickoff with a separated shoulder.That was the big difference in the 2nd half. Once the trainer's got #13 stable he went back in and tried to play.Most kids wouldn't even be playing. A very tough and courageous kid.

They won the district this year and a playoff game.How many times has that happened around here?

I've know Bredar for along time and he quit after the State Championship year because he told me he wanted to watch his son play soccer for Boyle County. The principal tried to get Jaggers not to rehire Yates who is a para professional, when he took the job. Yates was suspended by the principal 1 game, by the principal, the year before Jaggers came.I had a close relative on that team.Coach Yates knows that Jaggers went to bat for him. The theory about him waiting is helping other candidates doesn't hold up if he waits. Have you read where the state dept. is telling schools they are going to have to make even more cuts this year. These candidates have homes they have to sell and wives that have jobs and they have to convince them to move. Personally I hope he stays, but I understand if he doesn't. He's put his time in and he has nothing else to prove.I know I can't wait when the time comes and I can retire .

The job that Jim Black did at Whitley County was just as impressive as anyone this year.In my opinion he deserves the award as much or more than anyone.

Don't know where your getting your info on the assistant coaches.Jaggers hired all of them and even coached a few of them.I wasn't saying he would help coach.I'm saying he helps one of them get his job by waiting.He hired one of his assistant coaches after that assisiant was fired at the school he was a head coach.I'd say that coach would be very loyall to him.The interim supt. won't make the decision on the principal it will be the new supt.I've heard he's waiting on that as well.

The new supt. might get rid of the current principal is what I've been hearing. I've heard that the board may want that done.Jaggers could be waiting to help out one of his asst. coaches if they want the job. It ain't like he don't have plenty of options.

I got on the KHSAA site and found where Mercer won 40% of their games during the 90's but they didn't have the 70's or 80's. They did have Meade County's during the 90's who won 63 %.

This is as about as silly as people arguing over who is a better singer Carrie Underwood or Taylor Swift.Jaggers beat Harrodsburg his 1st year when Harrodsburg had Cory Jackson and Brandon Ford and tied Larry French's school record of 10-2 in his 1st year at Mercer premerger. Does that mean he's a better coach, no, does that mean he's not as good, no.Jaggers has beaten French and French has beaten Jaggers .Jaggers beat Smith in their only meeting. Jaggers dad beat Larry French several times and Larry French beat him a few times.Jaggers and his Lincoln County Patriots beat your beloved Dan Haley Purples in the fall of 92. Tony Franklin won 1 game his only season at Mercer. Does this mean he couldn't coach? Obviously not. Most coaches will tell you that usually the team with the better players usually win.I've yet to see a really good team that didn't have some really good players.Sam Harp hasn't won the state title since 2003 when Jaggers was calling his offense. Does this mean he won't and can't win it again? Of course not. He won it before and if he doesn't retire he'll win it again.This is so childish. The man has coached and taught 27 years if he wants to retire than I hope he enjoys his retirement .Anyone that has been in the education business and had to deal with today's kids and parents deserves it.

3 of those 5 teams made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs and the other 2 are still playing.Their won-loss record is currently 47-14.The team they lost to in Tenn. is currently playing in the 4A semi finals.
