Very tragic story - saw it on the news and I could not help but think of how many of us send our kids out every am to school and never want to imagine that it can happen. So young- what a loss to the family, school. and community. Our prayers are with you all.

It always sadden me to hear of a young person going so young. Prayers from the nWo household.

We had a wake at the high school gym tonight. Over 1000 attended. It was very touching and gratifying to see so many in our community show up and give support to the family. We are thankful for the people such as you all, who never knew Chelsea, who are showing support to the family and our community. Every parent's nightmare. I can only imagine what the parents and family are going through. To the young lady's family, friends, and the rest of the Green Wave community, heartfelt condolences from Oldham County. Our prayers are with you. So very sad. Thoughts & prayers from Grant County. As someone else said, it certainly does put athletics into perspective. I for one have taken a step back after hearing about this. I promise my athlete to appreciate her every minute of every day...and try my best to show it.
