Somehow I managed to give the wrong impression entirely. Perhaps it was the use of the word "However".

It is readily apparent to me that there are some folks on this board who wish to promote a certain team; sometimes even a particular player. Rather than do so in a positive fashion, they do so at the expense of another team/teams, or player/players. That is frustrating to me.

I am the type of person that would rather see teams/players that I support be successful because of their positive play, rather than root against players on the opposing team. I think it is ridiculous to "root against" teenagers.

Thanks buddie. I too have found myself supporting other teams because of posters I have met through BGP. Didn't know much about Henderson Co....because of All Thumbs ( rest his soul) I always like to see them get the W.

I agree and well said goldy!

Me too - occasionally all the time. :thumb:

Same here.....60% of the time, it works every time.

From your past postings, I knew the way I read it or that it "sounded" wasn't the way you had intended.

On the other hand, I don't root FOR teams simply because of posters or because of locale.

reconsidered

I root for who I want and what others think never go into it.

I am my own man(LOL)

I have to call you out on this one NCF with a big ole BULL!!!!!!!

You root against Kentucky (and any other SEC school) because of their fans.

I'm gonna have to agree with ya, LRCW.

Who are you trying to fool NCF? ;)

I root for kids to fail if they are playing the team I support. What's wrong with that ?

I find that hard sometimes. What if my son is playing center....and a friends kid is playing noseman. For my child to succeed...the other must fail. I hate those situations because I hate to see any kid fail and get hammered by their coach. Quite often its my own.

I know what you are saying. I will never put a h.s. kid down or "slam" them.

Now, when one team is playing my team I cannot wish the opponet good luck, just that all remain injury free. When the game is over I will wish them good luck the rest of the way in their season. Well, most teams anyway :D but that goes back to some of the adults/posters and not the kids and to my answer of "Yes" in an earlier post. I still will wish all teams/kids good luck unless it is a team playing my team and then it is just for that game.

I will always wish that ALL remain injury free no matter what the situation.
