No surprise and let the endless hype machine begin.

With that said, I can't recall looking forward to a NC game like I am this one.

Someboby paid somebody a lot of money to get the Gators bumped all the way up to number one.

They couldn't move Texas up since they didn't even play for their conference title. Because the Pac 10 was down, USC didn't have any big time signature wins to vault them anymore than where they were.

While I still think Texas got screwed, we are seeing the two hottest teams in football right now.

I do agree that Alabama only dropping 3 spots is ridiculous, but it doesn' matter now. We are, at least most of us are, getting a NC game with two deserving teams. We all remember what happened last year when a team fell into the game, at least we had two teams deserve to be there.

A top five team beats the #1 team and gets bumped up. That's the way it should be. Not the first time it has happened this year.

My question is, is how are there still TWO Big Ten teams still in the top 10? I thought we ruled them out already? Oh well... At least OSU isn't able to ruin the NC game this year. :thumb:

The to see Bama only drop three slots after losing is a joke.

Far from a joke...they went 12-1 with their only loss to Florida...

How far would some of you drop Bama? They lost in a conference championship game to at worst the number 2 team in the country. They have 1 loss just like USC and Ohio State yet played in a much tougher conference. Some of Bama's games include Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss, and LSU on the road. USC played two really good teams this year that would compare to Alabama's list Ohio State and Oregon State and well we all know what Penn State did to Oregon State.

The lowest Bama should be is 5 with Utah at 4 and that case can be made at the Sugar Bowl.

Lets here your top 4 then?

Too bad the game is not next week, and then I would agree with you. Now that both teams are off for a month, you will get the same results as you have the past few years. Somebody will blow the other team out. Too much time off will hurt one of these two teams.

Florida was #2 in the AP Poll last week. And then they beat the #1 team. At what point would that not be what happens? Wow, ALL the way from #2....

Why don't you go back and tell me where Florida's movement hasn't been a natural progression? Don't let your SEC hate blind you completely.

Lets here your top 4 then?

I can answer that for him....

1) Ohio State

2) Penn State

3) Michigan State

4) Minnesota
