December 5, 200817 yr Who is the projected starting QB at UL next season? Either a true freshman or someone who couldn't beat out Cantwell at any point of this season.
December 5, 200817 yr Either a true freshman or someone who couldn't beat out Cantwell at any point of this season. I just can't believe they didn't have anyone else worthy of taking snaps at QB. I questioned why Cantwell was behind center after the Ky. game. Why would you have a guy with limited talent that is not coming back, playing QB? If he's all they had, well that's a huge problem.
December 5, 200817 yr Hey... the 2nd half was a tie. Rutger's scoring plays averaged over 30 yards each. They only scored from within the red zone 3 times. Rutger's Average Scoring Drive: Time: 2 minutes 32 seconds Plays: 5.2 Yards: 69.7 Yards per play: 13.3 If you don't count their last drive, its: Time: 1 minute 29 seconds Plays: 3.9 Yards: 67.6 Yards per play: 17.5
December 5, 200817 yr Leading passer in the Big East? Let's not act like it was Texas Tech's offense or anything. Before this game Teal was averaging 241 yards and 1.5 TD Passes a game. He threw for 447 yards and 7 scores in 3 quarters of play. After a decent start the UL defense proved to be only marginally better than last season. This year they ended up allowing 358 points to their opponents compared to 377 in 2007. This is a program in shambles right now--compared to where they were.
December 5, 200817 yr The most exciting part of this game was watching Norton pull out the nappy hair of Brooks.
December 5, 200817 yr The most exciting part of this game was watching Norton pull out the nappy hair of Brooks. One of the Dbacks tried to get it again on the last touchdown run it appeared.
December 5, 200817 yr The hair pull and booming punt were the only highlights. Sad, sad, sad. Even worse is that 5 and 7 will look good next year.
December 5, 200817 yr Who is the projected starting QB at UL next season? Don't be surprised if it's Justin Burke, from Lex. Cath. He is sitting out this year, after transfering from NC State.
