I haven't seen it yet, but I was turned off why a friend told me that in the movie they start aiming and shooting at each other's bullets or something like that...

Because of this thread, I went out checked out the films ratings on Rotten Tomatos and IMDB.

 

Not that I use those sites to judge what I watch, but movies that are kinda borderdline, I enjoy looking to see the response from others.

 

IMDB has a rating of 7 out of 10 with 60,000 votes cast

 

Rotten Tomatos has a rating of 73 percent, which is outstanding.

 

Now I'm going to have to at least rent this now. Thanks a lot. :irked:

Is it just a good movie or is it a good movie on Blu ray. Such as the effects, etc. can it compare to the visual performance of say Pirates of the Carribean on Blu Ray?

I saw this one in theaters way back when, it seems. I thought it was pretty good. A little far fetched, but nonetheless..

Yes its far fetched, thats why its a MOVIE. That drives me crazy sitting with people in Movies and people saying "like that could ever happen" thats why its a movie and its sci-fi/fiction, its not meant to be realistic!
