I agree with you on this one. I knew we would have problems on the corners. I am so proud of these seniors. What a great group of boys. I just want to give a big thanks out to Bill Fannin and Dennis Grant on coaching these boys from the beginning in JFL. They are the ones that shold be commented for being the great coaches. They are the two that taught these boys everything that they know in football. I would love to see Bill Fannin be one of the coaches at Raceland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the RAMS you made the WHOLE area proud of you, with that said I was disappointed that with the wonderful coaching staff Raceland has they couldn't find better personell in the defensive backfield at corner

Hey, guys. Don't forget that those corners slowed LCA's passing down a LOT during the first part of the game. I was very impressed with the Raceland coverage. Several of LCA's completions came when Witt was scrambling, and that's tough for ANY cornerback to overcome.

No you need to clean your ears out and pay attention to what is being said if you are going to start calling people a liar. There were a lot that heard it. It was not said real loud but it was said. It was very obvious that he did not realize he had the mic still on. I'll take my appology once you check it out.

LCA Eagles; you guys are awesome! The "grit" you showed is a testament to your hearts. You never gave up.

 

This was your hardest-hitting game so far. The thundering blind-side shot that Joey Meehan put on Raceland's Cody Kelly (#31) was a beauty to behold.** And, of course, the huge hit by Townsend on Raceland's final pass play was a perfect capper to the game.

 

As was posted earlier in this thread, you linemen began to take control of that line of scrimmage, and THAT allowed all of the offensive and defensive success for the other players. Kudos to all of the LCA linemen.

 

In particular, it appeared to me that Brandon Dawson stepped up his play another notch. He did a great job against one of the most difficult opponents we will see all year. Towards the end of the game I heard someone yell "Kill, Brandon, Kill!". :thumb:

 

Now, focus ONLY on Hazard. As of NOW, they are your WORST ENEMY. Take no prisoners. "TRAMPLE the weak, HURDLE the dead; FIGHT to the end."

 

** I want to say that Cody Kelly is one tough dude. That shot he took was murderous, but Cody got up and kept playing. EagleEye & I agreed that he reminds us of A J Hawk. And he's only a junior...:eek: :eek:
