I think it did live up to the hype. Even though the score was a little lopsided, it was a heckuva battle for most of the game. I think it proves though that you need a balanced attack to win at this stage of the playoffs.

Happy to do it. Took me 5 years to make it to Varsity Player from JV player, and I did it tonight doing updates.

 

Now, if I could have had 5 years of highschool ball, would the same thing had happened? :jump:

Couldn't agree more. If the D can't stop you when you run 48 of 52 plays, no need to be balanced.

Right on. HHS lead 21-14 and JC had driven the ball down to about the 20. They ran a play up the middle that sort of turned into a "scrum". An HHS lineman came out of there with the ball and returned it for a TD. That turned what might have been a 21-21 tie into a two TD game.

 

The teams played pretty even besides that.

 

How many times did JC have the ball down to or inside the 20 and not score? About 3.

 

I thought the HHS missed FG after having the ball inside the 5 was pretty big also. Could have made a big difference in the game.
