Under Coach Berner this will be the seventh meeting between these two district rivals. While the Falcons lost the first three meetings they have swept the last three since moving into the same district. The Falcons have outscored the Aces 75-6 in the last three games, with the last two being shutouts. The Aces will come to Fort Campbell as the underdog looking to upset the Falcons and redeem their regular season 20-0 loss.

Owensboro Catholic is well coached, talented, and is always a threat to make the 2A finals. However, Fort Campbell is fast and can score very quickly a multitude of ways. Their defense has played outstanding all year and has only allowed 89 points in 12 games, half of which against the JV in mop-up duty.

During their regular season game Fort Campbell had a lot of penalties, two that cost them TDs and two stopped drives inside the 20 that resulted in missed FGs. As long as Fort Campbell doesn’t turn the ball over and keeps from committing costly penalties, I believe they will win by 4+ TDs.

FC 38

OC 7

I'm thinkin' much the way you're thinkin' FC. I think that as long as Fort Campbell can keep the turn overs from happening and not commit any costly penalties, this should be a win for the Falcons, and possibly another shutout.

35-0

Later.

FG big

Falcons by at least three TDs.

The Falcons will not be looking past the Aces on Friday night. The Seniors on this team were Freshman in '05 when OC upset a Micah Johnson led Falcon team, that by far had the most talent of any team in 2A.

Other than the state championship, there isn't a more meaningful game for the Falcons than OC. There is still a lot of unhappy memories from past playoff runs, which were abruptly ended by OC. I look for the Falcons to exact some sweet payback in this game.

Falcons by as many as they want!!!

Agreed, I think FC will take this one and make it what they want it to be. I believe they'll dominate this game fairly easy. Goodluck FC

Ft. Campbell 34-14.

Again, there are five people that did not pick Fort Campbell. Football Addict, knnal, LUCK, RADIO GUY, scooterbob.....this is not an attack, but why do you think OC will win this game? I'm interested to know why you feel that OC will win.

Later.

I'm going to say 42-7 Falcons.

OCath makes adjustments at halftime as well as any high school team I've seen. They scored 28 second half points last week on the road and held Trigg to just 91 yards after halftime.

With that said, if OCath plays the first half this week like they did against Trigg last week, they will be down 35-0 at halftime and adjustments won't matter.

Well I haven't voted yet but I think it is always hard to beat a team twice and twice in less than a month is even harder. FC has a really good team but if a team's gameplan wipes out all of your strengths which OC may be able to do then this game may be closer than expected.

OC played with OHS erlier in the year and OHS has been playing good football for most of the year minus a little 7 minute stretch in one game against CC.

OC can hang in there.....

Will they? Probably not

Can they? Most certainly

If FC comes in a little flat having beat the tar out of the Aces not long ago they may be in for a game. OC is young but quick in spots and well their coaching staff has been here before which makes me think they will have a pretty good game plan for this game. I may be wrong altogether but I tend to think this might be closer than people think.

FC 56-14.

Aces to keep it closer than most think.
