Beechwood is no doubt tough but you do have to look at Beechwoods schedule. I dont think that many teams they played are above .500 and one of those teams they lost to.

Sorry Double Fadez, your wrong on this one, they did play Newcath, a team most likely going to win state this year.

 

but I'm going to have to go with Beechwood on this game, "A" is weak.

No the tigers, as you stated have only lost to NCC, a great football team.

Bottomline, with the exception of the NCC game, they have beaten everyone in their pathy, quite convincingly. It's always an argument every year when a team has a fantastic year, the detractors will say that the team played a soft schedule. Well, we'll what happens now that the schedule gets a little firmer....

I am not sure that I would use the word "soft", But the classes have been watered down since we now have 6 classes, and for such a small state. Leave Cov Holy Cross and NCC in the class A as in the past, then it would still be the toughest district.

 

Teams are forced to play districts games, so you can't blame teams for playing those teams that are not above .500, they have no choice.

 

Looking at Frankfort's schedule one could say the same, 5 out of the first 7 opponents were not above .500.

 

Both teams are among the best teams in class A, and should be for years to come under the current system. :thumb:

How bad you beat teams has nothing to do with what class you are put into...It wouldn't matter if Beechwood didn't lose a game for 5 years, that doesn't warrant them moving up to 2A. How would you feel if they did move up, and they went 5-5?

It doesnt better your team by beating everybody year after year, all I'm sayin is move up, or play a more challenge schedule. An quite personally, it wouldnt bother me if they went 5-5
