A few no calls in that game really bothered me in particular. KC LB'ers both inside and outside clearly took on every lead blocker for Bell low, below the knees. Those plays should have been personal foul "defensive chopping" calls on KC everytime. Those are very dangerous plays and should be penalized. Those tactics have to be clearly taught by a coaching staff and I think they are the result of all the bad feelings by us Bell fans. I

Would you go as far as saying that Dudley Hilton has never coached a chop block? If you do, you haven't studied much film on Hilton coached teams. I have seen more than one Bell team that could chop down a tree.

Coach Hilton has never coached anyone to chop block or play dirty. This thread is about Knox and Bell Co the game will be decided on the field Friday night and the outcome won't be what the Knox Central people want.

The Hounds wouldn't know anything about Bell, they chose not to play them anymore, and for good reason to, It's called the BIG L on your schedule.

You're right, it is about Knox and Bell, and not chop blocking. However, chop blocks would not be an issue had a few certain Bell fans not made it one. With that said, any accusations made on Coach Mills and his coaching tactics are completely unwarranted and really should be laid to rest unless one of you have undisputable truth to the contrary. Otherwise, it is nothing more than taking pot-shots at Knox County.

 

As far as the game goes, it should be a good one, and may the best team win!!!

I really hope this is not a controvesial game like the last one where we are talking about penalties after the game and bad plays rather than celebrating the abilities of the young men on each team and discussing great plays on the field. Also, last time I believe both sides would probably agree that the refs let it get out of hand early (from what I have heard anyways, I didn't get to go to the last one). Hopefully the refs will get a hold of this thing early and lead to a game thats not full of personal foul penalties.

No he has not taught that. There are legal chop blocks and illegal. You need to go back and study the rule book. Players on the LOS in the tackle box can, all other players cannot. Also a player can not run toward the LOS and chop that is here the problems arise. :thumb:

 

You must have been watching a Middle school game b/c Bell and Corbin have not played in a few years. :fire:

 

I hope Friday night is a good hard nosed clean game. I hope all the players come out of it healthy. It should be fun.

I think this is one of Coach Mills better teams since he has been at Knox Central. But just to be totally honest if the game had not been called so poorly the first time. IMO I think the game would have been much worse.

Why can't you guys be happy for Coach Mills and what he is doing down at Knox? He is a disciple of your very own legendary Coach Hilton, yet now that he's actually building a decent program you all seem threatened or defensive about it. Mills and Hilton are cut from the same thread whether you like it or not.

You can't awnser my question, so all you can do is bring Corbin into and take shots at us, like you are Coach Mills. If you have something to say about Corbin, make the Mod's happy and take it to the PM's.

 

Bottom line is, in playing Knox Central, Bell County is getting a small dose of their own medicene, and obviously you don't like it.

Prediction from an outsider looking in:

 

Sloppy weather/poor field conditions - BC 28, KC 0

 

Good field conditions - BC 42, KC 14

Hounds I thought you would taken a different persective after last night. It is very evident you haven't read the previous post on here from the many Bell fans praising Mills and the accomplishment of the Knox Central program. Why do you think you can get on this thread and constantly down grade Bell County, Hilton and our program and think the Bell County faithful are not going to retaliate against you and your program. I know most of the Bell County pollsters and they are connected closely to the program and most of them watch alot of film on opposing teams that Bell play. So, I would say their comments are plain and simple the facts/truth/the way it is. You seem to want to continue to dispute their word and turn their words into a negative comment against Bell when you don't have a clue about it. Oh BTW I have seen the film from the previous meeting of the two teams, it is very clear on the tape.

This is getting comical. :lol: Please leave Corbin out of this. It has nothing to do with your team.

 

As for the game I believe when it comes to a game like this both sides get fired up and heated. It will make for a great atmosphere Friday night. I just hope no one gets hurt based on players playing illegaly. I think that is a legit concern based on how the last game was played. (And Im not accusing any coaches of anything).

Weather looks good for Friday night. Dry fast track. Knox should hope for a muddy field.

 

One thing I would like to see in this game is for Bell to get the ball to #19 Simpson and #7 Rains more. Those 2 kids are BIGTIME playmakers. Nothing against Greer he is very steady and great game controller. But #7 and #19 can flat change the game in a hurry. This maybe the most weapons Bell has had on offense ever!

 

I am not hating on Coach Mills but some of things that went on last game were either taught or he did not have control. I would think the later would not be the case with Wayne. Someone correct me if I am wrong but was Mills just the top assistant for 1 year?
