I saw Owensboro on film against Hoptown this season. Id say the Birds would have beaten them by 3 or 4 touchdowns as well.

 

There is only one team in KY this season that I think could take the Birds and that is Lou. St. X.

 

 

I am glad you saw the film that was the 3rd game of the year with a totally new offense and a sophmore QB playing his 3rd varsity game. Totally different team but nobody can ever beat Highlands so I will quit the argument because you are always right.

 

Nobody will ever be able to play with you and you guys are so good you ought to be ranked #1 in the nation. I just hope the boys that play for Highlands are more respectful and less arrogant than the people on this mesage board.

Wow, until you posted that you have a son old enough to be high school kid, I was under the impression that everyone was debating with a high school kid. I really hope O town does make the finals against the Birds. I'm looking forward to seeing this all world, future NFL player of yours. It's always fun to watch that kind of talent!

 

No you are not arguing with a kid and I do not know about my son making it to the NFL that is 6 years away and many things can happen between now and then but he is good at what he does and you can ask several people around this area about him.

 

You know the problem with some is they are so blinded by their team they do not really get to enjoy the ability and talent of others. I do not care how many state titles you have won or how many you are going to win in the next 20 years all I care about is watching good football and playing good teams and it should be an honor that everyone wants to play you not an opportunity for you to rub in all of your success and to down other programs.

 

We have a pretty good program here at Owensboro that has produced several former NFL players over the last 20 or so years maybe we haven't won 17 state titles just 5 in our history but we have won and we will again some day sooner than later hopefully. So in closing in this rant that I have you should want to go out and play other schools out in the state.

 

You can argue you are better than St X or T any year because you don't play them and well we don't either. Highlands is on a different level than most in 5A but they are not on the same level as 2 big teams in 6A either maybe closer than most but not where you can go beat them every year.

 

So it is what it is and probably always will be so I am going to stop the argument. Just come and play us or we will come up there that is all I want is to see the program that you guys are so proud of in Ft Thomas.

One last note and I will quit read Purplehaze's post about the dungeon. It should be something everyone in the state should experience at least once.

That is all I am asking! I respect your team for sure honestly you haven't won 17 titles because it was a fluke.

 

I just love to get you guys all riled up every now and then. Some on here know I have respect for them dang Bluebirds. Moonlite is definately some good food and well that is something else everyone in the state should experience at least once as well.

 

If we ever play you guys you will know who my son is because when he is in the game you can't miss him he will be the kid with 2 different color cleats on and Purplehaze will get to see him tonight as well.
