Beat Bryan Station during the season 21-14 then Woodford goes to Meade Co. and loses 21-0 then Meade Co. comes to Rash stadium and loses 48-0 with running clock in the 2nd half. Highlands beat Bryan Station 28-22 so does that mean Highlands would lose to Meade Co. and loses 21-0 or if they came to Rash Stadium would OHS beat Highlands with a running clock? Does anyone see where I am going with this???

 

Scores mean nothing in the playoffs!!! I have one more question in the BGP

5A rankings why would you have a team at #10 that was last in its own district just because they gave Highlands a close game or what?

 

Also look at the 5A rankings 7 of the top 10 are WKY schools and the winner from that side will have to beat at least 3 of those 7 to make it to Papa John's. The WKY must be the SEC of Ky High school football!! Well at least in 5A I better add that!

Johnson Central came from behind to beat Bryan station by 4 points. BTW, BS turned the ball over 6 times (4 lost fumbles, 2 interceptions) this didn't happen against the Birds. BS is a good team...not because they almost beat Highlands, because they are a good team.

 

Friday night when Highlands plays Ashland (coin toss 2 seed), it might show how smart the COIN was.

I agree, really wondering why the other teams bother to play, since the Birds already have it wrapped up...

This is getting sort of stupid. In the BS thread HHS supporters were accused of not giving BS their due. So what is it? Is BS a good team, or did HHS overlook them and just not play well? We get drilled for saying it is either.

Well I will save my comments on beating them until a later time we have to play a pretty good BG team then probably a pretty good CC team and if we survive both of those porbably a good JH team just to get a shot at whipping the Birds. I would like to have them on our schedule just for the fact at getting a chance to beat them every year.

 

Sometimes the best in the West is not the team represented in December although the last few years it has but this year it may not be the case.

 

I think a few teams in the west could give the Birds problems in the finals since I know of a few teams that have a ton of speed on both sides and can pass and run. Sometimes it is about matchups and BS showed why they were a tough matchup Friday night even though Highlands made turnovers those things still happen and maybe a better team could have shut the door early kind of like BG vs OHS last year BG had 5 TOs in the first quarter and OHS couldn't get but 13 points.

I have no problem with the HHS supporters saying they overlooked BS. I do not think BS is anywhere near HHS's level.

Crunch this is how I see it you say man BS did a good job we were lucky to get out of there with a win. THIS IS A GOOD ASSUMPTION

Man that was close BS has a good team but we fumbled the ball 5 or 6 times and kept them in it or it would have been a blow out.

 

See the difference. Never make excuses for almost losing. Games happen that way and everyone knows that. How about BS saying man we would have won had we not thrown the INT on our own 10 like I think happened.

 

Shoulda Woulda Coulda I think that is the point. Sometimes it comes off as arrogance and not giving the other team credit for a hard fought game.

 

And one more thing I want to add as well quit using the but we are already playing up in 5A and we should be in 3A thing anymore that chaps most people as well because one if you are 3A you should either be in 3A or play in 5A and shut up about it. How many teams are play up out of their class anyway does anyone know?
