What have you got against this person, so far you haven't stated a single fact about him and Dr. Hughes is pretty high on him from what I understand.:irked:

If GCHS is so poor maybe they should consider giving up football and putting that money towards the other sports or students, I don't mean this as mean just an idea

Okay analyzer, what is it that you have against him, I haven't heard anything negative about him and I imagine Dr. Hughes and the BOE has vetted him pretty intensely in order to work with our kids. Sounds like something personal.:irked:

, Great idea lets take the away the biggest money maker we have in the athletic program. Give me a break.

I think that when evaluating a talented coach with experience, you have to look at Jerry Lucas. He was an all-state QB at Greenup and has went on to be a head coach at Western Hills and currently the offensive coordinator at Shelby County. He is very adept at handling players and I think he has the temperment to handle the Musketeer Mafia.

 

I think Jerry would be a good choice. I know coaching is in his families blood with his dad and brother.

Surely this has to be written as a joke. I believe Title 9 would prevent such an idea of taking place anyway.

Yes the boys have weight lifting the last period of the day, but from what I've been told the boys have been doing everything but lifting.I know before the break they were wrestling and kickboxing my son took pics and showed them to me from his phone. I don't think that the weights have been focused on like they should be and I hope the new coach does change this.Lifting is vital to a good team.Just the same as hitting is and Sammons did not do much of this either.

Nothing personal at all! What I have is an opinion based on knowledge, you may refer to post #230 above. I have NO knowledge of that particular incident but it does sound typical. If the BOE has vetted (investigated to discover) and are satisfied, then keep on keepin on. :thumb:

Greenup County will make the right decision whomever that person maybe, I have faith in Matt, Chris and the site base council and Dr. Hughes's final approval. We will get a good disciplinarian..
